Dear past and future members of The McKey Christmas Club,
As the retailers in our neighborhoods start decorating for Halloween, it makes us think of fall, Thanksgiving and
Christmas, which of course, reminds us of The McKey Christmas Club! We are happy to say these thoughts are
all positive as we work on evolving The McKey Christmas Club to endure into the next generation. To that end,
we are asking for your assistance in volunteering, giving, and, most importantly, encouraging others to
participate.
We have been hard at work this summer, striving to improve the Club’s structure and processes. Here is a brief
outline of opportunities to contribute and get involved, including dates, locations, and details on the support
needed.
- Gift Purchasing: We are asking for a handful of volunteers to assist with the purchasing of gifts this
year. Please email Leah Davis, lmdavis@rwbaird.com for more details about getting involved. - Wrapping will be on Saturday Dec 21 st from 9 AM to 1 PM. US Bank Building at 777 E Wisconsin
Ave. Music, coffee, snacks and fellowship will abound!!! - Distribution will be on Monday Dec 23 rd at 3 PM. Loading will take place at the Ambassador Hotel
2308 W Wisconsin Ave. - Post-distribution Festive Gathering, dinner and caroling will be at the Ambassador Hotel 2308 W
Wisconsin Ave Milwaukee.

- In the end, our biggest ask is for recruiting and bringing in new members. We all know this is a cheerful event
and valuable cause. - Talk it up with your friends & family and encourage participation.
Do not be shy to forward the email, highlighting the website and the event dates. - Take the opportunity to mention the Club publicly if you have a platform.
